Basic Prep for boys and girls

An introduction to the basics of Classical Ballet through imagination and creative movement. Kinderballet is a program for children between 3 and 5 years created to hold their attention while introducing them to basic movement principals. The children learn Classical Ballet steps and develop basic motor skills while acknowledging that younger children are a highly imaginative age group with pretend play being an important aspect of child development.  

 

 

Sharon Beretta Hess, Ballet Instructor and Dancer has been a  teacher with Contessi Ballet since 1991.  Performing lead roles in many well known productions; She was an original member of the Petaluma City Ballet Company.  Sharon spent nine summers under scholarship to the San Francisco Ballet under the direction of Herold Christensen and was also a first place recipient in the Helen Cochran Memorial Scholarship competition in Sonoma County.
