Pre-Intermediate Ballet

In this class the dancers will learn more advanced techinique such as rond de jambe (a circular movement of the leg), jete (a jump from one foot to the other), and pique turns (one the toe). At this level the dancers attend class 3 or 4 times a week and work on more advanced barre and center dancework.  They concentrate on strength and technique and when ready will advance to pointe work.  If ready they are given key roles in the Nutcracker and Spring shows.
